Hands on hatching and help

So, I had two hatchers Wednesday. I knew Monday night only two were still viable. They pipped close together Tuesday morning, zipped within an hour of each other, are almost identical. Both have nice vaults and are super cute. Unfortunately, these two are spoken for, or I'd keep them.

Well, it is a good news and bad news day. Good news, 11 Delaware eggs went into the hatcher and I started my Sebastapol Goose Eggs. Bad news is looks like I'm down to 2 viable Bourbon Red Turkeys. I started with 6, 2 weren't fertile, now looks like 2 quit. I will keep my fingers crossed. I know turkeys can be hard to hatch and this is my first time with them. I candled my Welsh Harlequin Duck eggs, looks like 11 of 14 are keepers....that is good news also.

Sounds like my last set of silkies. I set 10, 4 were clears, 2 quit early. 4 made it almost to lockdown. I knew one was iffy because It didn't look like it was developing as quick as the others. Night before lockdown that one quit and another quit. Left me with 2. But they are adorable!

Amy....oh Amy. <sigh> I need a shoulder. Guess who RE-ordered those 15 Silkies to be shipped April 3? I'll give you a hint - it DOGGONE sure wasn't me! Guess he thought I needed something else to do while he recovered from the surgery he's having on the 29th of March.
