Hands on hatching and help

Saved a wrong-end pipper yesterday. After looking at the major draw-down of the air cell, and how tightly crammed to the bottom of the shell this little one was, I knew I had to assist. The pip was almost in the very bottom of the egg, and the gunk that usually ends up in the pointy end was right in her face. Ran into a little blood, but not too bad. I didn't get to watch her push out, but she eventually hatched on her own, after I opened a little further. I thought maybe she had a slipped tendon, or leg issue, but this morning, she is doing great!! First wrong-ender I've had in a long time. But its worth noting, this was one of the eggs that I had to candle when laid to see which end the air cell was on. Oblong, but both ends were very rounded.
That's awesome. I love the coloring on that blue marans.

Hey guys my call eggs are in lockdown. Due to hatch Thurs. One looks like it may have internally pipped but its to bright right now to say for sure. I'm going to candle tonight when I add water. Anyways I'm struggling to keep my humidity up. Water well is full and I have a sponge fully soaked and humidity is still only at 60 percent. Any suggestions on raising humidity?

Ha!  I guess I missed the next page.  Gorgeous babies!  You've gotten some very nice stock now!

This hatch I plan on selling unfortunely. I have 10 in the brooder I'm growing out from the last three hatches. The one you commented on is paint, but #4 could be splash.

IMG_3142.JPG IMG_3144.JPG IMG_3147.JPG IMG_3152.JPG I am happy to report I had 100% lockdown/hatch rate on my silkies! So happy! They were absolutely adorable. 19 hatchers. All of them sold. I had people on my fb silkie page asking if I would ship. So it was a success. So, I have to share pics. Hopefully byc will be going live soon. But here are my babies!
