Yes! and up until this year they did not recommend it for geese because the studies were not complete yet. Brinsea now recommends periodic cooling for hatching out goose eggsBrinsea did not do the study that was from a University. There are quite a few actually--enough that is valid and of course repeatable. Yes-- I misspoke ... it was based on a study, of course

Two times is the minimum. UP to 4 works great. After 4 the benefits go way down and it is hard to hand turn more the 4 times in a dayJust one more Question! How many times a day do you have to turn eggs? I know you stop on day 18
Good answer!At least 3x, 5x is better... always an odd number, that way an extended period of time like sleep or work time is alternated each day as to which side is up...
