Hands on hatching and help

I have NutriDrench and want to give it to this keet. Since she had a late hatch, I figure she needs all the help she can get. How much should I give her?

For now I just did one drop. She swallowed it just fine. I wasn't sure how much they could handle.

If you can get them to take a straight drop, you're better than me! But a drop every so often is good, just follow it up with some clear water. That stuff is so thick and potent.

are you going to sneak this one in under momma too? i doubt she will even notice! :D

Okay, I will get some water for the keet too.

I am not going to sneak this one under momma. First, I am afraid if she does notice, she will kill it before I can react. But mostly, I have a friend who is planning to take all the keets and brood them herself. She will pick them up tonight, and I figure this keet will be done in the incubator by then.

How cold is okay in the incubator? Its old and has massive temperature swings, right now its bouncing between 93-99F. I thought that was probably okay for the hatchling and I don't expect any other eggs to hatch.

I have mad dropper skillz. LOL not really. The truth is the drop smeared all over the beak and covered one nostril, but a bunch slid inside the beak. Then I wiped the beak & nostril clean.

Ah, good deal.
Those temps are fine if you don't think any others are gonna hatch.

 I have finally resorted to just wiping my finger on the dropper stem to get some ND in my finger, and then wiping it up the side of a chicks beak. I do that every couple of hours or so until they perk up real well.

I'm not judgemental about loners, especially if you've thought it through. I gave a final duckling that i hatched to a friend. She had a wonderful home alone for quite a while. Granted, they usually like to have siblings, but it happens and can work out fine.
Hey! So I got home today and we have the starts of zippage lol. I tried to take a good photo. About how long do you think this will take?
Thanks for all the help!

Geez, i had to work late tonight. :(

Any more action??? Ducks will bang around a little, making more than one pip before they actually start a full fledged zip. As of that pic, it's not zipping yet.
