Hello!
My husband and I are brand-new to this adventure, and we just got our first four chicks 6 days ago, so they are a week old today. Happy birthday, girls!
We have a Buff Orpginton, an Ameracauna, a Rhode Island Red, and an Australorp. Because of the variance in colors, we were tempted to get a fifth and call them the "Spice Girls", but four is enough for our little city yard - for now. I have all kinds of plans for coops, but haven't settled on one design yet. Fun to plan!
I'm trying not to have favorites, but the sweet little Australorp is so friendly compared to the others, it's hard. They are all really lively and starting to hop around and try to fly.
Looking forward to being a part of this community and learning more and more!
