Canker, is said by those who have treated it, smells rotten. Wet fowl pox or fungal disease, and some respiratory diseases, can also cause yellow to white lesions inside the beak and throat. It is best when a vet could look at a piece of tissue under a microscope or the state vet could do a necropsy, and identify the causative organism.
