FINALLY! I have pictures of the inside. We cut a triangle shaped piece of some leftover melamine paneling for under our roosts. I chose sand for summertime bedding and will put a sheet of plastic over it with pine shavings for the winter. The girls LOVE their new home. I will get some updated pics of them soon!

Very cute! I know what you mean about the weather. We are up in Colbert and have been trying to find rain-free moments to finish our coop. The only sun seems to come when we are at work! We did get the fencing all done yesterday and now they say cold weather is on its way.

I don't know if I should put the girls out this weekend. DH definitely wants them out of the basement, ASAP (The smell does tend to find its way upstairs!!)

What a great idea! I want to use sand this summer, too, and was thinking about how to scrape it all out - now I will just cover it up and use the shavings. Nice and comfy for the girls!
