So.... Can you explain average temperment?

I am in their coop everyday as theres is the main walkway Marshmellow coos at me al the time Hes so sweet and I find they are vry quiet. I have 5 cochin cockerels two are 7 months the others are 21 weeks there is only one that is crowing He has the most amazing crow the cockledoodle is normal but the doo is very long and drawn out. Theres no doult when Dutch crows lol

Is your new fella a standard or a bantam?

Let's see, I have 4 bantam Cochin roos and 2 standard Cochin roos. The two standards will be gone soon but I like their temperament well enough. I just have no more room for roos.
All my Cochins are pretty nice to be around. I have one blue pullet that will peck if she is touched but she is the only one with a bad temper.
My bantam roos are super sweet and nice to the ladies and are fiercely protective from other roos. I can pick them up easily and cuddle them any time.
I haven't tried picking up the standards and petting them because I knew they weren't permanent. But when I have to move them they aren't any trouble to handle. All the other standard hens are very nice but not as sweet as my flock of bantams.

Congrats on your new addition. I know you will love him!

This is King...he is the best ever! I love this little man!

He is a standard. I'm not sure of age. He will be gotten on Sunday. I have 3 coops right now, so if your close to NC (Hope mills/Fayetteville) I might take one
