We ate working on a pond but it's been taking to hard it's filled with rain water lol.

Anyways! One of my friends down the street has another black Swedish and she wants to mate Patch with her duck Sonic!! I've never heard of mating ducks before at all!!! So I guess I'd like to know if anyone had done this before? If so how should this been done? We both are wondering if we should separate them from their flocks. Is this even a good idea? I know I have one boy buy he isn't old enough yet to do anything so she's gonna have babies sometime. I've only heard about breeding dogs this way lol... ya do any ideas or should we just get this silly idea out of out heads?

I’d be best to do it on neutral territory, or the males. It shouldn’t be a problem, just leave em together for a while and crack her egg everyday till the first fertile egg appears. Then either hatch the eggs or give them to your friend.

There’ll be a bullseye. I can’t post pics from online, so look up fertile egg next to infertile egg. The little white part on the yolk will have a spot in it.

So technically for domesticated you can expect fertile eggs non stop as long as there is a male. Good to know. Got to grab those eggs fast.
