Happy Halloween!...What do I do with these pumpkin seeds??

I give mine pumpkin seeds (even the seramas)! THEY LOVE THEM! Also I have heard that they are a great natrual dewormer. They will not eliminate worms but they will reduce the numbers. If you search the forums I know there is at least one post about their anthelminic properties.

Pumpkins and guts to the chickens, seeds get rinsed and toasted with butter and salt for the humans!

I had the kids do their carving out by the chicken coop, so the chickens could clean it up for me

I went in the house to get them some more cocoa and when I came out they were surrounded by 20 or so chickens that didn't think they were getting the insides out of those pumpkins fast enough!!!!!!

They are yummy toasted, you can use them to make pumpkin brittle too.

I just did a batch of seeds in the smoker. Smoked cajun pumpkins seeds.....mmmmmmmmm!
