Good Morning Stella!

I picked up my 16 additional "rescued from the hoarder" hens Weds! I already have 4 of the hoarder hens that I picked up in Dec. The sanctuary who rescued them had the last batch of 8 still in their QT room for lack of space in the main area. As soon as they were released into my new run they jumped into the dirt and started dustbathing. Probably the first since their rescue in Dec. So sweet. Most of them are bantam ameraucanas and EE. Of the 16, only the speckled sussex is a brown egg layer, none are white layers. The other 15 lay shades of blue, green, olive, pink, ivory........I had no idea until they got here. The hoarder was hoarding 80+ farm animals.
