Danny bit her lip as get dad gripped her arm tighter."Now when we get home you know what's going to happen?" Her dad asked even though he knew she knew what. Danny nodded tears bimming her eyes. Her mom chuckled."You're going to wish that car killed you!" She spat angerily.

Michel leaned against the wall, trying not to press his ear against it. It would be eavesdropping. He looked at Julie, his expression concerned, and a bit angry.

She shook her head. "No. I could hear through the cracks in the door. Danny, I'm not letting you do home" she said gently. "Besides, the doctor said you can't go home tonight. You have three broke ribs"
