"I guess that's her name now then, Maddie" Julie said with a smile. The donkey heard it and looked up. Julie chuckled. The mare flicked her ears, relaxing a bit. She approached Julie slowly, realizing that she still hadn't been punished for kicking her. Julie reached out to her and this time she didn't bolt. Julie petted her and the mare sighed, relaxing a bit more.

The mare sighed deeply when Julie kept petting her. She nuzzled her gently, faintly. Julie smiled and hugged her. The mare snorted at first then smiled and hugged her back.

"Is there anything you want to talk about?" she asked gently.

Melissa walked past him.

""Not really", Danny said quietly.
