Julie smiled once the food was done and tapped on Danny's door.  "Ready to eat?" she called.

"Yeah..." Danny said standing up and fixing her ponytail then grabbed a slepping Blue and walked out of the room with Milo on her shoulder.

Peace followed her out. "French toast and blueberry chocolate-chip muffins!" Julie said.

Peace nuzzled Danny. Julie pulled a bottle out of the refrigerator, warmed it and handed it to Danny.

Peace drained it and fell asleep on the couch, one leg hanging off. Julie laughed and handed Danny a plate. She set the syrup and powdered sugar out for the French toast.
