"You ok?" Melissa asked Bree after showing Zannah where to put the feed.

"Im fine!" She snapped

"Great! I'm Julie, by the way" she said. "Bye!"

"Thanks! Bye!" Samantha called hanging up the phone. She walked out the door and haltered Pete. "C'mon Annabelle!!" She called, whistling. A cream colored dog raced around the corner, surprisingly fast for how much her hips were distorted. One leg twisted out to the left, while the other twisted to the right. Sam chuckled, and led Pete toward her trailer. She loaded him inside, secured his lead rope, and closed the door. "Ready girl?" She asked laughing as Annabelle jumped up and down barking. "Okay then! Lets go. It's gonna' be a long drive, but that's okay." She smiled, opening the door and letting her dog in first. Climbing in, she started the car and drove out.

"Ok ok, no need to snap" she said, her eyes full of hurt as she walked back into the feed room.

Skyler looked at Starfire, and whispered: "Even if we didn't win, thank you..."
"We have Skyler and Starfire, for the second year in a row!!!"
Skyler's eyes went wide and she grinned broadly, hopping on Starfire. She cantered a circle around the arena and then took her place beside Happenstance. They all slipped off their horses, and Skyler threw her arms around Starfire's neck. Tears rolled from her face, and she held onto Starfire. But she wasn't sad. She was happy. Right now, there was no greater bond between horse and human than Skyler and Starfire.
"Thank you..." She whispered. "Thank you..."
