Julie walked out of the stall. "I'll be back buddy" she assured, walking back to Chance.

She laughed. "Had a horse in worse shape then you" she said, patting his shoulder.

Chance whinnied and nuzzled her.

Julie nodded. "Sad, isn't it?"

"Horribly." Jessica replied, her voice soft.

She tossed her head towards Rose and lowered her voice a bit. "She doesn't know why she can't trust Tango. You mind telling her?"

Abbie bared her teeth. "I'll do no such thing." She snapped, and looked down at Romeo.
Tango peered over the wall of his stall. "Abbie my girl!" He whinnied. Abbie pinned her ears. "Don't talk to me Tango." She spat his name as if it were poison. Tango stuck out his lower lip. "Aw, come'on. Please don't be mean." He nickered. Abbie stamped the ground. "Shut up!" Tango jerked his head back. Abbie bared her teeth; "You left me, even though you knew I was in foal! You didn't care, even though you made sure it looked like you did!"

Holly trotted inside the stables Danny riding her.

Julie looked at Chance. "You gonna let me finish your hooves?"
