"Thank you" Julie said with a smile. She kept walking towards the horses. Silver ran to the other side of the corral. Lilly didn't move, frozen in fear. Julie gently slipped the halter over the horse's battered and bloody head. "Come on sweetheart" she said gently. Lilly's eyes were wide and she was shaking, but she followed, afraid of what would happen if she didn't. Julie tied the lead to Hope's saddle horn and went after Silver. After a few minutes, she had him too. "Why is there a pocketknife in his shoulder??" she demanded.

Will kicked him again and grabbed his mane, flinging him into the fence.

Julie growled. She pulled it out, wiped it off on her pants, flipped it shut, and put it in her pocket. "Thanks for calling me" she said, handing the man $90.

Silver grimaced when she touched the knife, expecting her to force it farther into his shoulder or slash down his shoulder. It had happened many times before. He sighed in relief when she pulled it out.

Will stood over Chipper. He scooped him up and threw him again before walking towards Blue.
