At last! I know I haven't be able to update my original post but we finally got moved into the new house and the old house is all fixed up and ready to sell. Now we can move on to the fun stuff! My sister was so kind as to brood some guinea fowl for me and I was able to pick them up yesterday. Very, very exciting....
We had an old shed out back we managed to convert into a home for the new flock. The shed isn't in great shape. The doors are long gone and I had to buy some pieces of plywood to block up some holes, but all in all I think it will work out ok. We also bought a chainlink dog pen and used that to block up the front of the shed. What the pen didn't cover we used chicken wire. We nailed some tree branches up about 4-5 feet high. Bought some wood shavings, feed, bowls and away we go.
