Happy New Year to me!

Found two turkey eggs in the coop today! I was so surprised, I did see one of my Tom's doing a tap dance earlier in the week. I think the birds are all messed up in our crazy winter weather, 40 today and raining. When it wasn't raining I was out with no coat on (unheard of here in Mn on the last day of Dec).


Is there anything I should be concerned with when they lay this early?

we have gotten several, but none look furtle yet, but made a great breakfast. the membrane sure is tough. (not as bad as guinea though)
