I'm actually really happy with this cause I felt like I wasn't getting any better cause my time was just staying the same but I tried counting my breaths and concentrating and it helped.
I am really happy that I got to 2:30. I felt like I was stuck at 2:15 but after taking a couple days off I feel like I can get to 3:00 within a week or two if I keep up the work!
I have made it part of my daily routine to do two planks. I've been doing straight arms for 2 minutes.
I think the forearm planks are harder for my abs, but the straight arm ones are more of a workout for my upper arms. Since I have "old lady upper arms," I'm opting for the straight arm style. I feel like my arms have more muscle tone now.
