My son bought this hen as a chick at a small animal auction near Huntiville Arkansas in April. As she grew we noticed she was not showing the bantam size but I thought she might be a brown leghorn mix. She started laying this week and her eggs are very dark and appear to be Wesummer egg color. Her eggs are small like our bantams so I suppose she is a bantam mix but we are very happy with her eggs.
