Hi, everyone.
I'm a new member, but I've been reading the forum for a few months now. And I just want to say thank you for posting all of your experiences, and this forum has been a blessing to have as a resource.
I'm a noob, with less than 1 year of chicken raising experience. I got started with eggs that my neighbor gave to me to eat. But I ended up hatching them. I had 7, thinking I could keep them all, but turns out you all were right about the males..... they were being bullies, so now I have 3..... and a bunch of my neighbors chickens hang out in my yard because I'm a very hospitable person and I hate to say it, but, I'm a huge push-over when it comes to animals.
I don't know for sure what breed they are, but I think they are a mix of leghorn and Road Island Red, maybe you can help me out on that.
I am an artist through various mediums, I am a gardner with satisfactory results except when it comes to herbs.
I dance and I have a mind like a steel trap when it comes to lyrics.
