My name is Erin and we've had chickens for nearly four years. We live in a suburban community that allows us to have four chickens but we have six (shhhhhh....). They're a mix of breeds. We call them 'The Ladies'.

We have used this website for a long time to learn the ins and outs of raising chicks but I've just now joined because the topic of the week intrigued me... odd eggs. We have been having egg issues all summer. It would be great to get some good, solid advice on what to do.

Thank you for maintaining such a great website filled with outstanding information.
