My name is Angel from Arizona. My husband and I picked up seven chicks at the feed store last year at Easter time. I don't know what breeds they are. We started with two blacks, two yellow and three brownish red ones. They all turned out to be hens. Unfortunately we've lost three to dog attacks. We treat them like pets and love them very much. I've been visiting this site for weeks now and love it. I was just reading about horsejody's ordeals with the ridgebacks. I'm so glad she won her case. [IMG]

[IMG] So sorry to hear that you lost some hens - I know all too well how hard it is to lose them. If you post some pics of your hens maybe we can help you ID them. [IMG]

Welcome to BYC! I live in Arizona too. What city or town are you in and which feed store did you buy your chicks from?

Thank you all for welcoming me! I love this website and all of you!!

I got my girls at Powell Feed Supply in Casa Grande. We picked them up on a whim and have been in love ever since! I hope to get more soon.
