Greeting fellow chicken farmers! I am on my third summer as a backyard chicken farmer. I had absolutely no experience before so I’ve just been “winging” it with the help of friends and this page! I lost half my flock last summer to a new family of foxes so I upped the numbers this spring!

I have 34 chickens ranging in breed from buff orphingtons to Phoenix to Easter eggers. I can’t imagine life without my girls now!! Looking forward to discussing things with everyone!
