Hello all! I have had chickens for about 4 and a half years now, in total I've had a total of 12 hens now, though 1 of them passed away in May of 2022 and the other I had to give away. I have 3 Ameraucanas, 2(3) Easter Eggers, 3 Wyandottes (all three different color varients.), 1 Black Australorp, 1 Buff Orpington, and 1 Rhode Island Red (Who I had to give away.). I orginally didn't plan on ever really having chickens, but my father decided it was a good idea especially when my grandparents had some. I am the one who dotes on them and does all of the care for them, my parents provide the money to take care of them as I live in their house with my husband. (If/when I move out I am taking them.) I'm looking very forward to being part of the community as I've come to this site many times from Google!
