Hello!!

I am so happy to have found this group and excited to be here to learn and contribute as much as I can :) I am sad to say my friend told me about this group because I need to re-home some roos. :( We are new to having silkies and I did not expect the Roos to be this loud, our neighbors are not happy. They are wonderful and we are sad to have to re home them! I have two black silkies and 1 white/red frizzle sizzle (that is gorgeous) I live in San Diego if you or someone you know can give them a good home. Thank you!

Try quail. They are actually worth having. Eggs at 6-ish weeks, and they are pretty quiet.
Quail eggs taste like chicken eggs. You can even buy special scissors for opening the eggs (3 per chicken egg). They are fine outside in the winter, but they can also live in a hamster cage inside.
