We have returned home from the vet with sad news. My pekin (Lemon) has a degenerative joint disease that started in her legs and is now spread to her wings and neck. She is weak and in pain and therefore she was holding her neck differently causeing it to protrude. The vet has prescribed a new medicine to help. If she does not improve by Tuesday they suggest I put her down. I am very saddened by this news and feel selfish for keeping her alive for my happiness if she is in pain. I will pray for a miracle.
