Katy,
Found them! Awe!!!!!!!!!! They are cute little fuzzy butts! I'm so glad that this was a happy ending. You and your babies have been in my thoughts through this horrible weather you've been having. I'm so happy for you. How old is the other batch that you had by the wood stove.......I couldn't remember?
I had 2 batches ......one batch was 1 week at that point and the other batch was less than 24 hours. Except one that had leg issues they are all doing ok. I've got another batch that are about a month old that are in a brooder in the coop. I've got chicks coming out of my ears!!! Good problem to have tho. Most of my hatches of shipped eggs haven't done nearly as well. My hubby thinks I've got enough chicks in the basement!!!
This is a super cute baby and he is still trying to stand as we speak. Hope he is ok.
I have 8 more pips!!!!
Here is a question though....
When the baby chick hatched there was stuff on the bottom of the egg....kinda greenish/yellowish. Not much but enough for me to wonder what is going on in their eggs.
