Hard solid lump in hens ear?

I just noticed today one of my girls has this lump showing in her ear. It’s solid, not soft at all and takes up her whole ear. I’ve previously noticed in the last few months her face has always seemed a little bit pale, and the area where the ears were on both sides has seemed to stick out a bit. However, only the side of the face where the lump is is pale now, and the other seems completely fine.
seems happy and healthy otherwise, eating and doing her normal chicken activities.
Any ideas what it could be and what I should do?

Update- lump has come out, it’s kinda weird and the white part was squishy, any ideas what it could be??

Maybe it's earwax. Do chickens have earwax?
It was in the ear

Looks like your chicken had/has an ear infection, the lump looks like pus to me which in chickens is of rather cheese like solidity and hardens over time.
