Hi! I am still new to this and am curious how you hardboil your eggs? I put mine in warm water and boil for 15 minutes...I guess what I'm concerned about is bacteria seeping into the egg?! I have read things that say not to wash and others say to wash. I don't wash I just wipe down and use sandpaper to get off the yucky stuff. Is it ok to put the egg in warm water and then boil it? Would that draw bacteria into the egg?? Thanks in advance.

Even IF bacteria seeped into the egg, the boiling water would KILL it.
Enjoy your eggs!

If you wash them make sure to put them in the frig. Unwashed can stay on the counter for a couple weeks or placed in the frig. Unless your egg is cracked you shouldn't have to worry about bacteria getting in the egg. But still the boiling process should kill any bacteria if any are there.
