Hardware cloth apron under raised bed?

I'd like to build a raised bed around the run to grow shade bushes and herbs. It will probably be 2 ft wide and go right up to the wire walls. Do I need to lay down hardware cloth apron under these raised beds or is the bed itself big enough to keep a predator from digging underneath? Similar to the photo..

Edited to add that we do have : Fox, raccoon, possum, skunk.

So I have a bed behind part of my run and I just plunked it down on top of the apron (apron was there before I added the bed). I did not extend the apron to cover the bed. No issues so far, so unless you have a lot of tunneling pests, you're probably safe to go without.
