Hardware Cloth Floor Question

As long as its as good as or better than hard flooring I think I will do it. I am trying to find a way around having to cut and fit plywood down. It just seemed as if it would be easier to work with than the wood. It would also be lighter(I built coop to be portable). I will try it and if it doesnt work out I already have the plywood ready to be notched and fit. Thanks for the replys
