I am getting eggs from my pairs...I have a little page on my website set up. They are monogamous like the button quail, but are coturnix and they mate in the winter time so the eggs are more fertile this time of year.

I just bought some african harlequin eggs from a guy in Maine. Bought them from eggbid.net. Name is Scott O'brien
email [email protected].
He sells eggs for a buck apiece and also sells birds. There also is a guy in Louisianna that has been breeding button quail for over 30 years, introduced most of the button quail colors and also written some books about them. He was selling some Harlequin eggs on ebay the other day. His user name is arcadia, and believe his website is www.zebrafinch.com.
Hope that helps.

Don't confuse yourself, buttons and harlequins are 2 totally different species and I would not cross the harlequins with anything.
