Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

The majority of my hens laying are 3 years old. I have a few young pullets but have only noticed one that is laying so far. I would assume all the eggs I used were from my three year old hens.

I would say it's probably not from the hens age then. I notice shells getting more porous as they age but so far it hasn't caused issues even when hatching eggs from a 6-7 year old hen, lol.

I have finished up my first 2 hatches with this incubator and I am very pleased with it. I ended up with 7/8 from lockdown with eggs from my flock and 10/11 from lockdown with the shipped pita eggs. Not bad for my first time and I think most of the credit goes to the incubator and the awesome advice I received from this forum.

I tried to get a photo of all of them, but you know how hard that can be lol

Congrats on a great hatch!!! So cute!! :wee

I candled my Easter eggs last night. It's Day 10. (I'm calling them my Easter Eggs because they are due the day before Easter..... :gig ) I set 7 shipped eggs (Cream Legbar) and 4 from my own flock (Blue Andalusians). Looks like one of the BA's is a quitter. Blood ring. And the one CL that I couldn't find the air cell, I have confirmed is not fertile. So that leaves 6 CL and 3 BA that seem to be developing. Nice veins and movement. :thumbsup

I just finished a hatch that was started in the NR360 and finished in my IncuView for hatching. 100% hatch rate, no quitters, no clears, 22 eggs set and 22 chicks hatched! One was a cracked egg (repaired with nail polish) and 12 were refrigerated for up to a month and they still developed and hatched! Lol
