Okay, candled all the eggs tonight. Saw development in the 6 EE pullet eggs only. I have some cream colored brown eggs I didn't see anything in. It's still possible they're developing, correct?
Here's a comparison. First two are both EE eggs, 3rd is a cream brown egg.

So... there's still a chance? It's still really early. Since you're new to this I would wait until day 7 to toss the clears.
Yes, I don't even toss clears on day 3.So... there's still a chance?
The picture looks like a blood ring but maybe give it a couple more days to be sure? You were right, @CluckNDoodle ! Still a chance! I saw development in 3-4 more eggs tonight! Praise the Lord! I am questioning this one though. In the lower left hand corner of the yolk (which looks strangely outlined...) it looked like there might have been a small... blob?

Okay, read about blood rings. Is it something I could have prevented, or do some just die?The picture looks like a blood ring but maybe give it a couple more days to be sure?

So a blood ring is caused by a dead embryo? Caused by?I agree, it's looks like a blood ring but I typically just put a question mark on the egg in question and check it again in a couple days.
