Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

I use this meat thermometer from Walmart, works like a charm and very easy to calibrate by the ice method on the back of the hang tag it comes with or you can follow the instructions in the link below the walmart link. I buy the inexpensive thermometers too, I spend a lot on chicken stuff and I find that I prefer the inexpensive ones because they all seem to break over time no matter what I spend on them so I would rather not spend as much, lol. The meat thermometer is the only one that has never failed me but the digital ones are just a lot easier to use inside the incubator.

Thank you. I will grab one tomorrow. I work at Walmart so that works!

I'm not setting a ton, probably about a dozen, but these are the ones I've gathered. The ones I really want to hatch (SilkiexSilkie) are the ones circled, but I think most are too dirty. :/

What do you guys think? I think that at least two will be fine.

If you hand turn the eggs they will fit just fine.
Good point. They're shipped anyway, so maybe I'll put them into cartons and incubate vertically for the first few days while everyone finishes hatching.

As for dirty eggs, I just tried to hatch a dozen, and nearly all of them have quit. I can only assume due to bacterial contamination. No cracks, but no other reason for quitting either than filth.

I've set and hatched some pretty dirty eggs but I do try to avoid it.
