They should naturally end up that way, since there's more mass in that direction... but if you're marking air cell developments, you can be certain.Also! When you stop turning, the deepest part of the air cell should face up! A lot of the 'how to hatch' pages don't say anything about that, and it's very important!
Although I've had pips toward the "bottom", and those have hatched. I was worried they'd get stuck trying to zip against the ground, but fortunately other chicks hatched first and soccer'd them into a better position.
