Harris Farms Nurture Right 360 Incubator is AMAZING!

The egg looks so tiny in that huge egg flat!
I'd say go for it! Maybe the hatch rate (if fertile) will be really good and you'll have more to fill out your flock or to sell. Some people are really into eating black or black-ish fleshed chickens.

I just set my first batch of shipped eggs this morning. 11 Bielefelders along with 7 from my own flock. Why not the full 22? Because I made two little cradles for eggs that are upright and it took up some extra space to do it in a way that didn't interfere with tuning.
The Bieles are my main interest anyway as all of my previous hatch are doing great.

I admit I'm REALLY curious what an Ayam Cornish will look like lol. I saw one guy crossed an Ayam Cemani with a White Leghorn:

Pretty cool looking bird lol. Would be kinda cool to breed the hens back to Johnny next spring, then start breeding them together. The meat would probably be patchwork black and white...but still, could be a cool bird overall...with some size. My Cornish Cross girls are pushing 12lbs, and while they all happily move about and scratch when they feel like it, two of them are super mobile (they often get up to the top rung of the roosts now and eat with the other girls. I feel if they can do that they've earned it). Would be an interesting bird if I could breed the size back to true Ayam Cemani black lol.

Ugh...just heard from Deer Run Farms. I'd asked for clarification on shipping as there's no information on her website. She finally responded today, letting me know that IF production holds, she SHOULD be able to ship between the 7th and 14th of July. That will put the birds into an August hatch...with a winter grow out period.

I feel like a lot of these breeders don't keep any sort of schedule on their websites for that very reason.

It is what it is but...bleh.

Bummer!

I have a nurture right 360 coming in the mail tomorrow. Is there enough room to be able to insert a carton and keep the eggs upright if you wish?
I believe @SnapdragonQ is incubating upright with their shipped eggs. They may be able to tell you how they’re doing it. I can confirm that the inside is tall enough to set eggs upright.
