Harry Potter movie

Worst Harry Potter movie I've seen yet. It seemed rushed, there were scenes in there that did not contribute at ALL to the plot which could have been used to compound on the actual plot.

My God. Why change a work of art that is already pre-scripted?! Makes no sense to me at all.

It did seem short, but it wasn't bad. I personally think that The Goblet of Fire was the worst. It was all centered around that stupid ball. They could have done so much more around the Tri-Wizard Cup. It was a terrible movie.

I guess my real issue was that the best part of the movie was when Harry took the liquid luck. I almost peed my pants on that part. The rest of it, although a serious tone was somewhat well done. Except for Hermione. By gosh...how many times does a girl need to cry in a movie?! Watch out! She's the next Drew Barrymore!! (Who has cried in every single movie I've seen her in...)

The biggest issue with the halfblood prince BOOK which is reflected in the movie, is that it is simply a "gateway" book.. it bridges the time period of order of the phoenix with deathly hallows.

We did see it. My son is a HUGE fan and reads the books before the movies come out. I tend to love what my kids love, so if they are happy, so am I. The kids share the book, we watch the movies, and then we have dinner to discuss the comparisons and contrasts...(guess it's the educator in me).

Personally, it's sad to me for Harry to grow up...it mean my time with my own kids will go as quickly.

--didn't answer the question, did I?

It was more of "Harry Potter and the case of the raging hormones" but it was ok....they had 2 hours to grow them all up enough for the last book....there is a lot of adult stuff in book 7

I've seen the movie. I enjoyed this one, much more than the last two movies! My older kids and hubby have all read the books, more than once, I might add, lol! They say the movies leave to much out. Guess its a good thing that I haven't read the books, huh?

PS, I grew up with these characters. I was the same age as them in the books and movies when they came out so they really have grown with the original set of kids to read the books.
