Hello! I am almost done building my homemade incubator. I have one thermometer/ hydrometer but was looking at this one to have an extra so I can make sure everything is right. http://incubatorwarehouse.com/eggometer.html Has anyone used it and what do you think?

Also do yall have any other suggestions for hydrometer/thermometers?

    Thanks!

I've seen them, but never used one myself. Hopefully someone will be along soon to give you an opinion.

I've never used that thermometer but I suggest the Brinsea SpotCheck thermometer. It's the most accurate thermometer I've seen for its price, and I have had good hatches from it so far. I also suggest sticking its probe inside a water wiggler for a steadier reading and a look at the internal temperature of the eggs. I bought mine from Cutler Supply:

And for my hygrometer, I use a digital thermometer/hygrometer from GQF. Here's the link:

Thank you so much I will look into those. Right now I have an acurite brand thermometer/hydrometer and I figured I put a cheap one in there as a double check too
