Has anybody else had a chook hatch out ducks?????????

i have this belgian d'uccle hen and she has hatched out 6 call ducks (with my help getting them out of the eggs)
and i am curious am i the only one who has chooks hatching out ducks!!!!!!
please put photos too =) i have some photos on the way =)

phoebs, I think several people have had broody hens hatch their ducky babies.

I have not entered into the wild, woolly arena of hatching yet. Don't have the nerves for it, and I tend more toward adopting adult abandoned ducks since raising my first brood of runners.

But I enjoy seeing others' little treasures. So, I look forward to your photo uploads soon.

mine hatched 3 turkeys and a duck no problem

I've had several hens hatch out ducklings. I had better luck with the hens hatching them out than the ducks. I had a silkie hen who rolled 3 duck eggs under the chicken coop and hatched all 3. It was so cute.

ohhh i am glad that i am not the only one my hen is an extremly good mum!!!
