Has anybody else used a shed kit for a duck house and how did it work?

I am talking about those sheds that you can get from Lowes, Home Depot, etc. They are kits you put together. Hubby is not a carpenter and he admits it. For those who have used these....how did you get enough ventilation? Hubby wants to just drill round holes around top edges. I want two long skinny windows across from each other. He says it will destroy the metal. Which sent me on a hunt for something else. Buying a shed with windows is probably not in the budget because I am reserving all I can for the fencing. Any ideas? Or can you show me what you have done?

Honestly, It's not that difficult. Future hubby built one from plans purchased online, and it was easy peasy. He's not much of a builder either.
