a single comb and it turned out to be a ROOSTER!!!

ive seen hens from the hatchery with single combs but does anyone know of one that is a rooster with a single comb???

just curious.i was thinking about it last night.

Combs are not sex linked. Single combs can come up in both males and females, and it's not uncommon to get a bird with an incorrect comb from a hatchery.

yea i know tht. ive seen hens with single combs but never a rooster. thts what im asking?

I don't understand what you're getting at. Both sexes (that means roosters included) can and do get single combs.
