Second off- Has anyone used this? What do you think of it. I'm considering getting a new coop soon, when we get new chickens, and although this isn't my first choice, I want to see what people think of it. I would be buying just the coop, and adding a run on my own, because it's cheaper.

Thanks for feed back.

I am a Rent the Chicken client, and since I’m elderly with a rotator cuff issue they gave me as part of the rental package this year an Eglu Go Up with a six foot run.
Love it!
I can lift it with one finger after engaging the wheels, (of course I need my whole hand to pull it.lol) My girls learned to walk along as I pulled it daily to new spots in the yard. (BTW minimal yard damage from chickens having direct contact with ground all day contrary to walk people said)
No problem with critters and it’s Wild Kingdom here. I do put down pavers to help tack the apron down better, although it looks secure as is- I did take in the feeder at night because that seemed to attract raccoons.
Caring for the coop is easy beyond belief because the Go Up is waist high.
From peeping in the coop at night I saw that there was lots of room for my two little hens-so I’m adding another little hen next year. (My knee replacement doctor has forbid me to go outside when it’s icy and it’s plenty icy here often so that’s another reason I do Rent The Chicken, so I can take them back to the barn in the winter).
I’m wanting to be able to attach a 4.5 foot length hardware
cloth covered dog crate to attach to the Eglu for a total length of 10.5’. However I want to be able to detach it easily to make it easier to move, and to be able to secure them in the Eglu coop/run if I’m not at home.
I have no idea how to do that!!! Any ideas appreciated.
