Has anyone bred Pekin and welsh harlequin ducks together??

Well, nightly update.... she ate 2 full meals this evening (early evening & 45minutes ago). Warm water, warm mash..... held her upright against my chest for awhile, just laid her down. No seizures, sleeping like a log. Thank goodness!! Just going to take it day by day. We're working her legs little by little.

Final egg hatched . She must've had 1 final vein(?) left and she must've pulled it when she pushed out. She was breech. Blood in shell, where she crawled across mat in incubator.... looks like around her bottom end or belly

I've got self rising flour...I'll try that. It might have stopped but I didnt want to investigate too much and get her all worked up until I had something to stop it.

Ok, didnt do it. Bleeding looks like its stopped but for such a tiny duckling, looks like a pretty good bit. Hope shell be ok.

Wish I could caught it in time. Literally 10minutes since I peeked in there, I came back & she was tearing out. At least she absorbed all her yolk, so that was good.....

Must be good and strong to come out the wrong way like that. It should be fine. May need a little extra time in the incubator.
