They are so pretty. I wish I had 20plus acres with a huge pond and I could just get a bunch of ducks

They are just beautiful and it's crazy how big they are already! I love the pretty iridescent feathers which are terribly hard to get to come out in picturesWhile taking my oldest 3 out, I've realized Stella's feather are going to be Amazing. Her mom, Emmie has a beautiful blue-green iridescent stripe on her wing. Well, Stella might have that everywhere. Very hard to capture in pics but you can sort of see some glimpse of it. Shes the top-right & bottom right in these pics.
It sure is neat that they look exactly the same. Even though they are all fawn and white they look identical, I can pick them right out even when running around with the other ducks.@Runner duck mom's ducks are all runners. The eggs came from her 2 fawn/white runners. It's funny because my boy looks exactly like his dad Stu and my girl looks exactly like her mom Sheldon. My other 2 young ones are from my chocolate runner and one of the 6 fawn/white girls. Who knows who baby momma is!

I will say I wasn't expecting them to turn out b&w either but they are such pretty ducksIt's still crazy to me that my pekin & welsh would make a black or black with white duck. Other than her beak & legs, Emmie doesnt have any black feathers on her.
They were 1month old over the weekend. (1st batch was born Xmas Eve, Xmas day, day after) And maybe so....I could've sworn Stella was a girl tho because shes been honking some. But, like I've said before...Max honked in the beginning, then decided he was a Boy!!I wonder if your seeing a little drake popping up with the green head feathers coming in? How old are they? They are sure gorgeous
I know I was thinking that hey looked a bit like my Patches (the dark on in my picture) has those white patches on his chest. Yours have lots more white though. It's still crazy to me that my pekin & welsh would make a black or black with white duck. Other than her beak & legs, Emmie doesnt have any black feathers on her.
