has anyone ever had this problem?

Well my hen took in some babies but they arn't chicks. They are puppies. They are only a few days old and she pecks at the fur and watches over them. The mother dog is in my room but she just wants some rest away from the pups. I cant scold the chicken since she is doing nothing wrong. Once I can get the camera tonight I will get pics for you.

Can't wait for pics! Cross-species mothering is so cute. Keep the hen safe from Mom-dog, though.

I am. the mom dog dont mind the chicken but she growls at other dogs. when the puppies cry the hen walks over to them and gently pecks them.

my has taken in cats and she has nursed a almost frozen lamb now the lamb is all healthy
