WE didn't move just because of the chickens, but I wasn't moving anywhere without them. We bought 10 acres very much so in the country. Last year all of the birds stayed in a 30x30 shop
. This spring I built them all outside pens, and have about 100 free ranging. Not 1 week after turning the birds out our GOOD neighbor came over to ask about what we could do in regards to all the crowing
. (only 17 roosters) I just looked at him in disbelief
. My DH agreed to move 5 further away from the property lines and I went into the house giggling
because I have all these chicks and at least 30 are up coming cockerals. We are now contemplating either building a second home further out back away from all the neighbors, or simply buying another piece of land and starting all over.
