I had one hatch with a bunch of bad eggs in it including a weeper that candling missed, now I sniff test eggs and anything that smells odd is outta there!

Didn't set the one from the second round.

My point is that the eggs likely have a membrane rupture allowing albumin to leak between the shell and membrane then when it gets heated in the incubator the internal pressure forces the albumin to leak out the pores. It doesn't have to stink and the one I set started weeping within 4 hours. No stink because it was very early in the process. Time-bomb, yes, but with a long fuse.
